An Osteopathic Physician is a fully licensed medical doctor with a more holistic, whole-body approach that includes traditional medicine (history taking, labs, exam, prescriptions) and surgery and also Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. D.O.s use gentle hands-on techniques to restore function, release fascial or muscle strain causing pain which enables healing from the changes of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, torticollis, colic, and reflux.
